A new church was planted in the voodoo worshiping village of Adeho, Togo, in the summer of 2015 after a Jesus film showing. A year later a small team conducted discipleship training for the 25 youth/adults and 40 children who call this their church. The children are learning an overview of the Bible. During the team’s visit, the farmers shared that they desperately needed rain so on Friday evening, the team and church members prayed. The rain that came early Saturday morning was a clear message that the God of new the church is more powerful than the voodoo idols in the village.
